General Terms for Creators — Juno Creators (international)
Version of 01/11/2026 (version 1.5: Creators established outside France, status to issue invoices, local permits and licences including those of the United Arab Emirates, advertising disclosure in the language of the audience, invoice according to the Creator's country, bank fees; version 1.4: post statistics required before payment for a non-connected account, optional account verification by screenshots; version 1.3: net rate with no deduction, options paid to the Creator, gifting with no obligation to publish, non-circumvention, collaborations between creators and services to creators)
The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
Article 1 — Identification
Juno Creators (formerly Juno Influence) is published by JUNO, a French SARL with a share capital of €10,000, 21 rue du Buisson Saint-Louis, 75010 Paris, France, RCS Paris 990 995 136, EU VAT number FR22990995136, contact@wearejuno.fr ("Juno").
Article 2 — Purpose
2.1. These general terms (the "Terms") govern the registration of content creators (the "Creator") on Juno Creators and their participation in the campaigns that Juno sells to brands (the "Brands").
2.2. Each mission is the subject of a separate commercial collaboration agreement entered into between Juno and the Creator (the "Mission Agreement"). It is made in writing whatever its amount, in accordance with Article 8 of French Law No. 2023-451 of 9 June 2023 on commercial influence (the "French Influencer Law"). The Mission Agreement prevails over the Terms as regards the mission.
2.3. The "Advertising Compliance" Annex forms an integral part of the Terms, as does the "Cancellation and Refund Policy" as regards the Creator.
Article 3 — Role of Juno
Juno sells campaigns to Brands in its own name and freely sets its selling price to Brands. For each mission, Juno is the Creator's contracting party and payer. Juno is not the Creator's agent.
The Creator sets their net rate. Juno deducts nothing from that rate: the remuneration stated in the Mission Agreement, equal to the net rate plus the price of the options chosen (Article 6.4), is the amount Juno pays to the Creator, within ten (10) days of receipt of a compliant invoice (Article 8.3).
Article 4 — Registration requirements
4.1. The Creator must be an adult aged 18 or over. The Creator declares this on their honour, and Juno may request proof at any time.
4.2. The Creator works independently and, for any mission paid in cash, has a status allowing them to issue invoices:
- in France: micro-enterprise, sole proprietorship or company, with an active SIRET number;
- outside France: no French SIRET number is required. The Creator holds the business registration, licence or status required by the law of their country of residence to invoice their services (for example a trade licence in the United Arab Emirates) or, where local law so permits, invoices as an individual, provided that Juno holds a document evidencing the payment: the invoice issued in the Creator's name from their Juno Creators account, or the equivalent document they upload there (Article 8.1). Without such a document, the remuneration is not paid.
Missions paid solely in products or services ("gifting"), as well as invitations to events with no cash remuneration, are open to Creators without such status, within the limits set out in Article 8.4.
4.3. A Creator established outside the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland whose content targets, in particular, a public in France appoints in writing a legal representative established in the European Union. The Creator takes out professional liability insurance with an insurer established in the European Union (Article 9 of the French Influencer Law). The Creator provides Juno with proof of both before their first mission.
4.4. Local permits and licences — United Arab Emirates. A Creator who resides in the United Arab Emirates, who produces or publishes advertising content from within the United Arab Emirates, or whose content targets the public in the United Arab Emirates, holds before the mission, and throughout it, every permit and licence required by local law for that activity, in particular the Advertiser Permit issued by the UAE federal media authority (UAE Media Council, or any authority replacing it) or, for a visitor, the Visitor Advertiser Permit, as well as the commercial licence on which that permit depends. The Creator complies with the media content standards and advertising rules applicable in the UAE, including the clear disclosure of advertising content and, where required, the display of the permit number. The Creator provides Juno with proof of these permits and licences on request, and informs Juno without delay of their expiry, suspension or cancellation. More generally, a Creator residing in, or targeting the public of, any other country complies with the permit, registration and advertising-disclosure requirements of that country.
4.5. Juno reviews applications and may accept them, put them on hold, request additional information or reject them, without having to give reasons for its decision.
Article 5 — Profile, accounts and statistics
5.1. The Creator provides accurate and up-to-date information: identity, contact details, status, social media accounts, net rates, audience. The net rate is the amount the Creator receives for a service, exclusive of taxes; a rate entered by an authorised agent includes that agent's remuneration. The Creator warrants that the declared accounts belong to them or that they are authorised to use them.
5.2. Audience statistics provided or synchronised must be genuine. Buying followers, views or interactions, or any manipulation of audience, results in suspension of the account.
5.3. The Creator authorises Juno to present their public profile (name or pseudonym, photo, city, categories, statistics, selected content) to Brands and in the Juno Creators catalogue. The Creator may at any time request that their profile be hidden from the public catalogue.
5.4. Account verification. For an account they do not connect to Juno Creators, the Creator may, if they wish, have their statistics verified by uploading from their account screenshots of the account's native statistics (followers, views and reach over thirty days, audience). Juno reviews these screenshots and, if it accepts them, reports the figures on the Creator's profile for a period of ninety (90) days. The screenshots are kept until that verification expires, then deleted; a screenshot that is not accepted is deleted thirty (30) days after the decision.
Article 6 — Offers and missions
6.1. Juno sends the Creator offers describing the Brand, the deliverables, the schedule, the remuneration and, where applicable, the benefit in kind and the usage rights. The Creator is free to accept or decline any offer, without having to give reasons. An offer not accepted within the stated period expires.
6.2. Acceptance of an offer leads to the drawing-up of the Mission Agreement, which the Creator accepts online.
6.3. The Creator retains control over their editorial line, tone, means and organisation, in compliance with the brief. The Creator is not subject to any working hours or relationship of subordination.
6.4. Remuneration and options. The remuneration for a mission is equal to the Creator's net rate plus the price of the options chosen by the Brand. Each option is paid to the Creator, on top of their net rate, and the Mission Agreement specifies the rights granted in return:
- twelve (12) months of organic use of the content on the Brand's own channels are included in the net rate;
- paid advertising, unlimited use and exclusivity are paid on top. Where the Creator has not set an option price in their rate card, the option is calculated on their net rate: paid advertising, 25% per thirty (30) day period; unlimited use, 100%; exclusivity, 8% per month.
6.5. Gifting. Where a Brand offers a product or service to the Creator through Juno Creators (gifting mission), the Creator has no obligation to publish, and their contract provides for none. The value of the benefit in kind appears in the contract (Article 8.4). If the Creator publishes content featuring that product or service, they apply the "Publicité" or "Collaboration commerciale" disclosure, or its equivalent in the language of their audience (Article 7.1), and may declare their publication from their account.
Article 7 — Compliance obligations
7.1. The Creator complies with the "Advertising Compliance" Annex, in particular:
- on each piece of content, a clear, legible and understandable advertising disclosure: "Publicité" or "Collaboration commerciale" (French for "Advertising" or "Commercial collaboration") for a French-speaking audience, and in all cases for content targeting a public in France; for an audience speaking another language, the equivalent disclosure in the language of that audience (for example "Publicidad" or "Colaboración comercial" for a Spanish-speaking audience); together with any disclosure required by the law of each country targeted;
- the notices "Images retouchées" ("Retouched images") and "Images virtuelles" ("Virtual images") where they are required;
- the prohibition on promoting prohibited products and services;
- the rules of regulated sectors.
7.2. The Creator refrains from featuring, as the main subject of content, a minor under the age of sixteen without the prior written consent of Juno and of the child's legal representatives.
7.3. The Creator warrants that their content does not infringe the rights of third parties (copyright, image rights, trademarks, privacy). The Creator obtains the written authorisation of identifiable persons who appear in it.
Article 8 — Invoicing and payment
8.1. The Creator issues their own invoice to Juno for each mission paid in cash. The Creator may generate it from their account, based on the mission information, or upload an invoice they have drawn up themselves. Juno does not practise self-billing for missions. The only exception is commissions under the referral programme, which Juno invoices on behalf of a Creator who has mandated it to do so, as set out in the Referral programme terms.
8.2. The invoice is issued after the content has been published and Juno has confirmed performance of the obligations set out in the Mission Agreement. It contains the mandatory particulars required by the law of the country in which the Creator is established, and in all cases Juno's name, address and VAT number (FR22990995136). In particular:
- for a Creator established in France: from the entry into force of the obligation, Juno's SIREN number and the category of the transaction (supply of services) and, where the Creator benefits from the VAT franchise, the notice "TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI" (VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), or any notice legally substituted for it;
- for a Creator established in another EU Member State and registered for VAT: the invoice is issued without VAT, with the reverse-charge notice, Juno self-assessing French VAT;
- for a Creator established outside the European Union: the invoice is issued in accordance with the rules of the Creator's country, Juno self-assessing French VAT where applicable.
8.2 bis. Post statistics. Where content is published from an account that is not connected to Juno Creators, or where the post could not be found on the connected account, the Creator uploads from their account, from the seventh (7th) day after the post goes live, screenshots of that post's native statistics (views, reach, interactions). Juno reviews them before reporting the figures in the Brand's campaign report. Payment of the mission's remuneration is conditional on those statistics having been validated by Juno. Juno may waive this upload for a post whose statistics can no longer be read, for example where the platform has removed it. Post statistics screenshots are kept as evidence of the mission.
8.3. Juno pays by bank transfer within ten (10) days of receipt of a compliant invoice or, if later, of the validation of the statistics provided for in Article 8.2 bis, to the bank account entered by the Creator in their account. Payment is made in the currency of the net rate; any exchange difference between the Brand's order and the payment is borne by Juno. The Creator warrants the accuracy of their bank details and that they are the sole holder of the account, or that it is held in the name of their company. Juno is not liable for a payment made to incorrect details provided by the Creator. Fees charged by the Creator's own bank are borne by the Creator.
8.4. Where the mission is remunerated by a benefit in kind (product, service, stay), its value is stated in the Mission Agreement. The Creator is informed that this benefit constitutes income to be declared under the applicable tax and social security rules. Juno may require a professional status beyond a certain volume of missions.
8.5. The Creator is responsible for all of their social security and tax obligations. For any mission or set of missions amounting to at least €5,000 excluding VAT, a Creator established in France provides Juno, before the start of the mission and then every six months until the end of its performance (Articles L.8222-1 and D.8222-5 of the French Labour Code):
- a URSSAF certificate of compliance (attestation de vigilance);
- an extract of registration less than three months old.
8.6. In the event of a dispute opened on a mission paid in cash (non-compliant content, publication not made, early removal), payment of the sums relating to that mission is suspended until the dispute is resolved. A gifting mission never gives rise to a dispute for publication not made (Article 6.5).
Article 9 — Agents
The Creator may be represented by an influencer agent registered on Juno Creators and validated by Juno. The Creator personally confirms, from their account or from the personal link received by email, the authorisations of their choice among those requested by the agent: managing the profile; receiving offers, agreements and briefs; accepting offers and mission agreements in the Creator's name; receiving payments, with the choice of who issues the invoice; following missions. The Creator may change or revoke them at any time from their account, where they find the log of what the agent has done for them; revocation applies to the future and does not affect missions already accepted. An agreement accepted by the agent is entered into in the Creator's name. Sums paid to the agent on the Creator's authorisation discharge Juno to the extent of their amount. The Creator always keeps their own access to Juno Creators.
Article 10 — Messaging and non-circumvention
10.1. Exchanges relating to missions take place through the Juno Creators messaging system. Personal contact details may be masked there.
10.2. Non-circumvention. During a mission and for twelve (12) months after its end, the Creator shall not enter, directly or through an intermediary (in particular an agent or a company they control), into an influencer or content creation service with a Brand introduced to them by Juno that bypasses Juno, unless the Creator proves a pre-existing relationship. A Brand is introduced by Juno as soon as it has sent the Creator an offer, a proposal or an invitation through Juno Creators.
Article 10a — Collaborations between creators
10a.1. Juno Creators allows Creators who so wish to show that they are open to collaborations and to get in touch with other Creators. This service is free of charge. Juno receives no money and is not a party to the arrangements Creators make between themselves.
10a.2. A Creator's contact details are disclosed only after they have accepted the collaboration request. Each Creator uses them only for that collaboration.
10a.3. An exchange of promotion between Creators (cross-posting, mentioning or recommending an account), even without money, may constitute a commercial collaboration: each Creator then applies the "Publicité" or "Collaboration commerciale" disclosure, or its equivalent in the language of their audience, and complies with the "Advertising Compliance" Annex.
Article 10b — Services to creators
Juno offers Creators paid services (video editing, Juno Creators Academy), governed by the Creator services terms. They are optional: none is required to be registered, approved or chosen for a mission, and none gives any priority in Brands' proposals or in the ranking of Creators. The price of a service is deducted from a sum due to the Creator only with their prior written consent, given for each order, and against an invoice from Juno.
Article 11 — Reviews
Brands may publish a review of a completed mission, and the Creator may respond. Juno moderates reviews and removes those that are insulting, defamatory or unrelated to the mission.
Article 12 — Suspension and closure
12.1. Juno may suspend or close a Creator's account, after inviting them to submit their observations except in cases of urgency, in the event of:
- breach of the Terms or of a Mission Agreement;
- false declaration or audience manipulation;
- failure to comply with advertising compliance rules, including the absence, expiry, suspension or cancellation of a permit or licence required under Article 4.4;
- conduct likely to seriously harm Juno or the Brands.
12.2. The Creator may close their account at any time, subject to performance of the missions already accepted.
Article 13 — Personal data
13.1. Juno processes the Creator's data to manage their application, account, missions, payments and legal obligations, in accordance with its privacy policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
13.2. Optional casting data (photos, measurements, preferences) are used only to offer suitable missions and may be deleted by the Creator at any time.
13.3. Bank details and administrative documents (including permits and licences) are accessible only to the Juno staff in charge of payments and compliance. Social media login tokens are never disclosed to Brands.
13.4. Statistics screenshots are stored in a private storage space accessible only to the Juno team. To speed up their review, Juno may have the figures read by an artificial intelligence tool from a service provider (Anthropic); those figures are never used without validation by a member of the Juno team.
Article 14 — Amendment of the Terms
Juno may amend the Terms. The new version is notified to the Creator and applies to missions accepted after its entry into force. A Creator who refuses it may close their account.
Article 15 — Governing law
The Terms are governed by French law, regardless of the country in which the Creator resides. The parties seek an amicable solution before taking any action. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the competent court under the ordinary rules of jurisdiction.
